Lewis de Mesa is a multidisciplinary creative with over 15 years of experience in motion design, video production, and visual storytelling. Currently, he works as an Art Director at Lumen5 in Vancouver, Canada, where he leads in-house video production and the development of branded video content and templates for enterprise clients.
His work has been featured in outlets such as CNN, Gulf News, The National, and 7 Days. He co-founded Brownmonkeys, a Dubai-based design collective active from 2007 to 2019. In 2009, he received a Gold award at Promax Arabia for a Ramadan promo created for MTV Arabia, and in 2014, he won 1st place in the video category of the Al Ain Photographia Award. Between 2014 and 2016, he was invited by Nikon Middle East to lead time-lapse photography workshops in Dubai and Doha.
